Sure theyre cheap, but would you trust one? VDO's are reknowned for being rather inaccurate.

yeh careful with VDO's and splitfires they have a bit of a reputation. autometers are alright and all the jap stuff is good if youre prepared to pay $300ish

NOTE: SplitFire = AutoMeter.. they come from the same factory, but are shitloads cheaper.

many accessories are made in the same factories, this doesnt mean they use the same parts of follow the same guidelines though. hence the finish products are not the same

I pay for Jap brand guages and stuff, and while they are very good and look fantastic they are way overpriced. If you can find a good Aussie product then go with that, or go for 2nd hand.

haha thats why i was posting cos I would rather get a secondhand one. i mean autometer wouldnt be a drama as they are more relliable than some other cheapies but a secondhand one is also cool.

Rob no dramas on the guage mate but Adam was a quick little bugga and his is alot cheaper though not HKS but like i said we will see how it pans out wWHEN ADAM GETS BACK TO ME!!
