Some newbie questions if I may...

* How much rwhp (or rwkw) can the standard factory Fuel pumps handle ?

* Obviously the more power the more fuel required and the stock pumps are only good to pump so much fuel ? Anything else worth knowing... ?

* What is the typical cost and can anyone post some websites with info/products/prices ?

thanks,

Ben.

You might find it a bit cheaper to go a second hand GTR pump, can get them for 250-300 compared with 500 for a 044.

I have those mods, and I am only making [email protected], at the time it was about 35deg C. What turbo are you getting?

Currently the injectors are starting to show the strain too(up 82.9% when tuned with a Z32 afm, 77.7% when not so well tuned with a sock afm but that was pushing out 191rwkw and pretty lean), so you may want to think about a rising rate reg too.

sorry I'm rambling a bit.

Benm, sydneykid answers some of your quesions on the SDU forum, a thread entitled 600hp fuel system, here is a link

http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...50&goto=newpost

Hope it works as I cant get on to the SDU forum at the moment, bloody server too busy.

Steve

Findings from a trusted source differ to that in that link posted above.

I've got a 975 mounted internally in my car.

Begin Cut and Paste

The big daddy Bosch Motorsport pump is part numbered 0 580 254 044, it can flow

330L/hr @ 73.5psi and price is $550.95

The last 3 digits will be different for other Bosch pumps.

975 is a 228L/hr flow @ 73.5PSI at $340.95.

984 is the same as 975 just that the fittings are slightly smaller.

040 is 235L/hr flow @ 73.5psi and it comes with a screen for in tank operation and is priced at $359.95.

910 is 200L/hr flow @ 73.5psi at $229.95.

I know that although the 975 doesn't say its a in tank pump, it can be mounted

internal or external to the tank, maybe all the other Bosch pumps can be

mounted internal or external also.

End Cut and Paste
