Rattle From Back Seats/boot Of R32 Gt-r

Hey all,

I've had a very small rattle heard inside the car coming from the boot area when I go over bumpy roads. It sounds like sheet metal on metal noise. A rattle/vibration.

I took off the rear seat and speaker shelf and drove around without them and it's louder, much louder (getting warmer!).

Behind the rear seats is a sheet metal thin panel which is bolted down in some parts but not all. I noticed that it's got a lot of holes around it so I bolted it down with more bolts and went for a drive and I still get noises when I go over bumpy roads. I'm pretty sure it's this metal panel which has a "X" through it.

Wondering if I should just take it off alltogether... or if anyone else has this rattle noise coming from somewhere behind the back seat and if anyone had found the solution?

For what it's worth, if stuff falls inside the rear quarter panel via the jack space or ATTESSA reservoir, it's kinda a one way trip.

Strip it all out, I say!

Pull your spare tyre out, and make sure you don't have a tyre-iron lying underneath it or something.

i had the same problem but i took out the carjack in the back problem solved
