Anyone here done it yet?? Be it on a white, maroon, grey, etc... colour car.

Or have pics of stagea's with this done. I've seen a few pics of stagea's with R34 fronts with it done, but none with the stock front, and would love to see how it looks!!

If not, how do u think a stagea would look with a blak bonnet?

Ive got a silky white pearl S1, so I reckon with a carbon bonnet with air-release grills would look REAL nice.

Wish I had photoshop...... to see what it'd look like.

Does the C/F bonnet actually weigh much less than the standard (aluminium I presume) bonnet? Or is it just an expensive, needless accessory.

I know for a fact that a C/F 300ZX bonnet weighs more than the standard fit.

pretty sure factory bonnets are steel, only the GTR's had aluminium bits.

carbon weighs a considerable amount less than steel, probably save you 30 or 40kg.

30-40kg's? How much does a Stagea bonnet weigh if you can save that much?

It must weigh at about 35-50kgs. That's if the C/F bonnet weighs 5-10kgs. Surely it can't be that heavy.

Stock bonnet will be around 25-30kg

CF/FG bonnet will be around 12kg

Carbon fibre still has weight, the resin also makes up a lot of the weight. i was just making an educated guess after doing many a carbon layup during uni compared to how much steel eeighs, i don't know the weight of a bonnet, again just an educated guess

I can get a bonnet made for stageas, but i need a stagea bonnet to get the ball rolling.

I cant donate mine and i dont think people would be willing to pay for them

im getting a hood scoop grafted onto my stgea bonnet - ofer the air filter. not a crazy big one. small... subtle... GU Nissan Patrol... haha at least its in the family. if they cant match my bloody paint well enough (ive got a nismo bar in primer, and has been for 2 weeks, waiting for these guys to match my paint right) then its gonna be a matt black bonnet.
