Sorry guys this seems to be an ongoing saga to fix a soft braking issue. Problem is that brake pedal is soft and doughy to a point then rock hard (doesnt loose fluid and been bled well). Had a look at my master cylinder and for the front its only using the one line out of the BMC then uses a T peice to branch left and right. I have attatched pics. Its from a Z32 ABS model. Apparently the non ABS uses duel feed lines to the front from the BMC. Is it worth grabbing non ABS to fix my problem and improve braking. Current set up S14 front and 300zx rear calipers. (new endless pads going in soon and possibly R33 gtst/gtr caliper upgrade on front)

Cheers for the help in advance.

Dont know why its braided was like it when I got it, quite possible that the front had the two ports from the old BMC, Then the BMC has be "upgraded" and only one port for the front so maybe was easier to disguard the alluminium and go with braided to create the two into one.

Diameter dont know the internal size, will have to check it out. good point. Havent taken it to expert yet as no money (Rego green slip due). But was going to wait untill new pads and rear rotors are machined. If that doesnt fix it then new master cyl. and if that doesnt fx it then take it to the experts (should have some money then). I spose I am trying to eliminate things with peoples advise.

Hey guys

Just thought I would finish this thread off

Just finished bolting on GTR calipers and rotors, BM 44 (skyline and S14) brake master and the difference is amazing. was locking up everywhere hardly been able to do that before. Did have some leaks through the old braided connections so I went with the minimum I could do in terms of connections and its now great, super in fact.

Cheers for everyones input
