Eprom Programmer

I have decided to give tuning the standard ECU a go. I have had ECUs chiped by other people but have never burnt my own.

My electronic knowlege is limited but i have built a Jaycar DFA and EBC kit without any problems.

I am looking for any advice as to where I can buy an eprom burner in australia.

I was thinking of buying this kit but i would prefer to but a pre built programmer if possible. so if you know of one please post its info in the thread below.

Does anyone in canberra burn eproms?

considered a bikirom?, www.bikirom.com will plug into the standard rom/sock and you can tune it out the wazoo

I have also found this one and it looks like it will work has anyone used it? or do you know if it is suitable for buring R32 chips?

I'm not sure the exact model, but its in the all-100 series.

We ordered it in from a mob in Victoria, can get the details on monday if you want.

thanks peoples. I have settled for a very simple burner that does 27 and 28 series chips as well as EEprom and PIC stuff

it's protable reliable and ony a couple of hundred $$$

thanks for the help. I will soon be burning roms for myself and others who need them.
