Ariel Question

my friend bought his car a few weeks ago with no headunit.

After installing the headunit we noticed there was no reception with the antenna.

so we followed the plug (antenna) to notice that it runs to where the ecu is and just stops (the end is another ariel plug that is the same as the 1 that goes into the deck). We lifted the carpet up a bit along the side of the pass door to try find if it unplugged from somwhere but to no avail.....

Any 1 had this prob before......?

had a really good look and cant seem to find a cable that goes towards the ariel.

Are you sure the original antenna is in the car?

Find the remote antenna lead (if the car has one - all skylines should) and apply 12v to it and the antenna should go up.
