New Turbo An Oil Pressure

Hey just wondering if anyone could possible help me out. I just finished fitting a new turbo how do i go about oil pressure. Do i have to do anything special before i start the car for the first time or do i just start it an it will nuil up its own pressure? If anyone could help me out sooner rather then later. As it is the last piece of the puzzle.

Just start her up man. Thats what I have done whenever I've taken a turbo off. The turbo doesnt spin very fast at idle.

If its a new turbo, it might have helped just to squirt a bit of oil into the turbo cartridge before you attach the oil lines. Buts its on already so dont worry about it.

Oil will get to your turbo very quickly. Just bolt it on and with a second or two, there will be oil flowing in your new turbo

I'd remove the cas plug and crank for a few seconds to get oil up to it first.

then fire it up.

When i fitted mine i just unplugged the coil packs and undid the oil return nut slightly sill then cranked it over till oil spewed out

hey guys im going to remove the coil pack plug an turn it over for 30seconds or so to get the oil flowing. Thanks for all the help

Oil will be fully running in 5 secs
