Heya all,

I just fitted a boost gauge and it's hitting around 0.7 bar boost on full throttle.

If a bar is 14psi as I'm led to believe, it means I'm running around 10psi with just a 3" catback and sports panel filter insert. Does that sound right for an R32 GTS-T?

Sounds a bit high to me, but maybe that's the norm.

Let me know!

Hey,

the Apexi boost gauges read in KPA or PSI, not in BAR.

100 KPA (1.0 on the gauge) is 15psi

if you're hitting 0.7 that means you're running approx 10.7psi

Shit, that's pretty high for a 32 with only catback exhaust and filter insert, isn't it? Maybe I should get a boost controller and wind it back a bit?

Not sure, you could do that, or you could start modding it, eg: front mount

yeah, 10psi is stock boost I believe... that means that you can't wind it down with a boost controller, because it's stock boost...

Don't worry about it, I always thought for some reason that stock boost was about 7,8psi but I few things here and there... the final thing was yesterday, when I installed a greddy profec and sure enough, stock boost was 0.7bar.
