hey all

im sure that this will get many a response.

i have an r32 gts-t. i have lost my licence for a year and now that i wont be spending money on petrol/ servicing etc, i can save up for some happy modifications.

now i can hear many of you conservative people saying "well you've already lost your licence, what makes you think you should be given more power?"... dont want to hear it. cheers. ;):(

i should have about 5k saved (hopefully) just before i get my licence back. so with that budget in mind, what modifications do ya'll recommend i get? my plan was- bigger intercooler, 2.5 inch turbo-back exhaust, turbo upgrade, and heavy duty clutch (if nesacary)... oh. and a front bar and sideskirts will be necasary cos its not as good looking as it should be atm.

unrealistic? keeping in mind i need to pay for man hours as well.

all feedback would be greatly appreciated.

james.

It is possible if you do most of the work yourself..

My rb25 conversion will end up costing around $2000.. by the time i have sold a few parts off the old rb20. If you can buy the engine for around $2k + loom.. sell old engine for around $1000... and spend $1000 on all the other little things to get it done.

You've got 12 months to learn how to do so ;)

BUT .. there really isn't much point unless you have the support systems in place such as zorst, and cooler.

hahaha, nah Im serious mate, you can pick Rb25 for sfa these days, Ive seen one with everything cept it was auto for 1500 or less, just have to shop around! And it was turbo!

I would never bag out the RB20 ;)

tight arse go fast mod budget:::

$800 = Exhaust

$50 = Air filter

$500 = FMIC kit

$30 = boost controller

$400 = RB25 turbo

$200 = Fuel pump

$400 = Ecu re-chip

$300 = Fuel pressure regulator

$2380 = Total

probably make around 170 - 180rwkw on 1 bar (14.5psi) boost.

that gives you $2500 to spend on better brake pads and fluid, better suspension, better tyres and maybe a good service.

I'm sure you can spend more money on those parts above but why bother.
