I picked up some Castrol grease today (had NFI which one to buy ) because my passeneger door has been creaking lately. I've never done it before, anyone got some tips on how to do it? Do I just put it on the contact surfaces and swing the door back and forth a few times to spread it around? Should I wipe it down first to get off any old grease that might be there (on the container says something about not mixing different greases or something).. thanks /n00bness

i use this graphite powder on my sunroof tracks. its the freakin bomb.!!!!

u must clean any oily grease first till its clean and shiny, then apply the powder. works like a wonder and doesnt attract dust like greasy surfaces.

Zinc Oxide for door hinges. Also known as whitegrease. wipe off any existing. Depends what the application is. Multipurpose will do fine for rails etc.

Always get rid of existing as it collects dirt and other crap.
