Item: August 1997 R33 Gtst

Location: Canberra

Item Condition: Excellent

Reason for Selling : Need a ute for work

Price and Payment Conditions: $18,500

Extra Info:

- white, straight

- 17" mag wheels with heaps of rubber left

- tinted windows

- lowered 1 1/2 inches all round

- 3 1/2 inch cat back exhaust

- pod filter with custom cold air box

- alpine stereo with 12" sub, 6 1/2 inch kicker splits in the front

- inside is immaculate, no rips or tears on seats

- turbo timer

- immobolizer

- front brakes re-done in november, new rotors and pads

its an august 1997 series 2, has 155,000 genuine kms (is not wound back), timing belt was replaced in 2001/02 at 100,000kms. very well looked after, motul oils used every 5000kms, good honest skyline, never raced/drifted/crashed, only selling as i need a ute for work.

hi i have a 2000 model AU2 XR6 ute and wondered if you'd be interested in a swap,

it has balck Leather interior, lowered standard 17" mags with good tyres

nice sound exhust, silver, never been used for work 113,000kms.

i would drive to canberra if you are interested i live on the central coast NSW.

      KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?

      Bringing an old thread back to life Looking to put some new front shocks in the r33Gtst and the KYB still look ok for a road car. Unless there are any other options aroind that price $200 a shock?  I’d like to replace the strut tops also, is this the correct KYB no.       LandCruiser used to get a fluid flush every 12 to 18 months.   Only because it was about that often the electric motor on the master for brake assist kept dieing and needing to come off.
