Having just seen this, I would also like to know if the R32 group buy is still open...

Also, has someone somewhere written a guide as to how to actually do the install? I mean I have read the posts in here about just cutting out the old ones, but I wouldn't mind more detailed instructions so I can get an idea of how hard it is to get to the 'cut out and replace' stage :O

Sorry guys been busy and havent updated thread.

Yes the r32 group is still open for you guys to get in on. I'll pm you details etc. If anyone else want them for r32 (or r34 as they take the same bush, but i cant see them needing these yet) let me know, and i can include you.

GTR and GTst use the same bush (same part number).

Installation would be how i described in the first post, but id have more of an idea when u pull out your subframe. Then its just a matter of cutting the old ones out and putting these in.

Havent seen any info on how-to's yet, maybe one of the guys here will post up a how to when they get thier kits.

I spoke to Noltec and it seems they hadnt received my payment for the r33 sets. They are double checking then sending out the items to me o/n so to the other guys you should be seeing them as soon as i get them. Sorry for the delays...

ok you 32 boys, get yourselves into gear. i've signed up and paid and really want to get these delivered and installed before i next am on track.

cool. I had closed the 32 buy though, but seeing as im still waiting for all payments to come in, i can still accept orders for now.

Guys who are waiting (and waiting) for the 33 items, there was some bs mix up frm the bank, where the money hadnt gone through, or something. Ive had to contact the bank and track ther payment etc so Noltec can send out the items. Noltec is getting pissed as i am, due to waiting for the damn banks...it should definitly be here this week!

Right finally got onto the bank today as they told me the payment should only take 3-4 days to go through for the 33 bushes.

I contact them today (after 7 days) to see what the hell is going on as Noltec havent received payment. They say oh theres been an error...-which they dont contact me to say, they just hang onto everyones money till i have to go into the bank to sort the damn thing out.

It has been sorted today, and the money has gone through. Noltec tell me the items are being shipped as of today, so i should receive them overnight. Which will mean i get the 33 bushes either Saturday (if the courier ships on sat) or Monday at the latest.

Sorry for holdups guys, its the banks farkups which was out of my hands. Freebaggin - i'll drop the bushes off to shaun for ya if you like, and ring you straight away to tell ya when hes got them so you can get your car in.

    • Okay. Final round of testing done. Got a friend to hook up a fancy scanner to the car and we also ran some compression and leakdown tests, she is healthy.  The MAF was definitely the culprit. So for future reference anyone with similar issues that find this thread. I suggest the following steps, in order of affordability:   Check your spark plugs for any fouling, replace plugs if they are bad or re adjust the gaps making it narrower (0.8mm would be good). Check every coil's resistance with a multimeter. It can be done by probing the IB and G pins on the coil pack. Resistance should be around 1.4 (+/- 0.1) Ohms Check the MAF. If you have Nissan connect or a good scanner with the 14 adapter it should allow you to see the voltage on the MAF reading should be around 1.1 - 1.2V when car is idling. But if you don't, buy a new MAF from Amazon and test, then return it. (For instance, I got a Chinese one for $40 that was reporting 1.3v on idle). If you still have scanner, you can run tests on the injectors to see if they are working, just remember to unplug the fuel pump fuse/relay and have no pressure on the line. Then listen for the noises that the injectors make. Clean/replace injectors as needed. Once you find the issue and fix, order thousands of dollars worth of OEM parts to refresh unrelated things (Optional)   PS: Thanks to the absolute legends of this forum for the responses and help to someone that went a bit over their head. • Ha ha ha, so they stopped the bearings spinning on the one you want, but then decided the crank hub should slip instead 馃槢   Stick to RB, at least you can work on it yourself. And now it doesn't smell of vapour   Also I still believe there's a chance your new flap doesn't "pop", as even though the engine might breath hard, it has a direct path with no restriction to the inlet, which when on boost should pull a bit of suction for you. If you do get pressure in the catch can id be very intrigued. Time to put a boost gauge on it, and a session at the track, then solid cover your vent and do another session
    • Oh nah, S55 doesn't eat bearings, just the crank hub slips lol.
    • When鈥檚 the tow ball on the 33 coming? 馃檭
    • I welcome any basic question that can help haha. Yes it has 2 unis but the driveshaft is a one piece and the unis are welded without a slip yoke at each end.   What's funny is anytime I've ever had wheel vibrations it's always been in the front so I automatically assume it will lead to steering wheel shake and not chassis vibration. With that being said, I never considered looking at my rear wheel balance... I have doubts though as this wasn't an issue before I pulled the motor and trans but is still very much worth a look. I'll do that tonight after work. Thanks.
