Shortening Pipeing To Plenum

If the pipes cross sectional area is constant through the bend, and the bend is less then 60deg, i seriously doubt there is any difference to a straight bit of pipe....the 120deg bend...ok there could be a bees d1ck in it, but again, is it measurable.

But my current setup has less 90 deg bends, typically using 60deg bends, but there is the 120deg bend...meh there are more important things to be worried about.

If your really that worried, get a thick AVO WRX cooler, throw som alloy around it and top mount your water-air intercooler. Your inlet tract will be all of 3 inches...and you will have more consistant inlet temps to tune with...byt yeh i know, then you have the weight and complexity of pumps, reservoirs and SK will also say the 2l of water on top of the rocker cover alos increases the centre of gravity :D
