Replacing An R32 Gts4 Diff

Hi,

I have a query regarding replacing the rear diff on an R32 GTS4. I have done a search and the best I could come up with was this ttp://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=66537 though it didn't answer my question perfectly.

Are the GTR and GTSt diffs straigh swaps for the GTS4? I assume that I simply need to unbolt the tail shaft and axles and bolt the new diff in.

Any thoughts would be great and I don't know a whole lot about diffs.

Almost. But the axles are different so you need to use the gts4 axles and stub axles in the GTR diff.

Been there, done that. Had the gears (crown wheel & pinion) swapped from a Stagea diff onto the centre of my GTS4 diff. I'm guessing, along the lines of what Duncan said, the same is the simple solution when using GT-R / GTSt diffs.
