Rev Limiter R32gtr

does anybody no if the 32 gtrs come standard with rev limiters? i heard they did yet i can get mine up to 9k easily! not good. cant afford a re-build.

not 100% but im pretty sure they have a rev limiter at 8000 so if i were you i definitly wouldnt be reving it to 9000

Standard rev limit is 8250rpm, sounds like you may have chipped/aftermarket ECU.

With my standard computer i was able to rev all the way to 10 grand, did it a couple of times by accident in second gear and once in third gear by not watching the tacho. i have a chip to remove the speed limiter, but don;t know why i could rev so high with a standard computer. Now with the Power FC I am back to a rev limit of 8250rpm.

I know its not really the smartest thing to do and i was really worried when i did it, but my motor is still very strong, 165psi across all cylinders with 100,000km's on the clock.

mine comes on anywhere from 7900 to 8100.....but how often do you ever really need to go that high?
