Should You Machine Your Rotors When Putting In New Pads?

As the topic suggests, I would like to know if you should machine your rotors when getting new brake pads and why.

not necessarily, you can chuck new pads in if you like.. it depends on the condition of the rotors, if the rotors are uneven ect ect then they should probably be machined, however if the rotors are in good nick still then you should just be able to stick new pads in without any problems.

you should machine the rotors before puttin new pads in though. just to make sure that the surface is completely flat

it will make everything last longer

unless the rotors are warped of course, i run pads which chew the rotors anyway few thousand kms and they've self machined
