What does it take for an r33 gtr to run mid-high 12's all day everyday?and reliably as well, is that a bit much to ask, or easily do-able?, im still deciding on the whole r33 gts-t mod it up, or just buy an r33 "r"

thanks

Very easy to do a low 12 in a 33 R, I did 12.3@110 mph in a friends 33 . The only mods were: Power f/c,

cat back exhaust, front pipes and ebc ( 1 bar boost ) .

The only risky thing in them are the ceramic turbos, if they let go ( just a matter of when, not if) they usualy take the engine with them ...

Plenty of 33's for sale in australia starting at around $29 k .

thanks heaps ppl, i think i mite just go with the "r" like ive always wanted to:), umm the risky issue?why so, is it cause your running too much boost on the stock ceramics???, i wouldve though an exhaust/pod and tune would only benefit the car, with no real disadvantages??

Yes but @ 1bar the turbos are at their limit.

So like it was said it will only be a matter of when not if.

I ran my car with stock engine/turbos, 1 bar boost/exaust, stock ecu which ran 12.4's easy, I drove it everyday as a daily driver, no problems for 40,000ks :P

A bit hard to believe you when you're selling the turbos in your signature

I rebuilt my engine because the ringlands were stuffed (which is only because a certain workshop stuffed something up and detonated my engine to death).. and i figured why not upgrade to GTSS turbos at the same time, so my turbos for sale are still in good cond

How's the GTSS turbos compared to the N1, 2530 and 2540's?
