List Of Bov Sounds Possible?

I'd like to hear about performance loss that apparently happens. If it's the case that there is a performance loss, then I stand corrected.

As far as I’m aware you won't lose any performance, but at the same time you will only gain from the use of one if the car's engine is modified... and most of the gain will be in engine wear.

Personally I think it just attracts the wrong type of attention (the fuzz), and isn't really needed for any sort of day to day driving. If you want to be seen... set that money aside for something visual (not that that’s my thing either).

Don't listen to all these haters. The sounds you can get are:

1. Pssssttthhhh

2. Pssthhfoofoofooofooo

3. Psrrtfoooossssssstshhhhh

4. Waassssshooooommmmff

5. Pizzzzooooo

and finally everyones favorite at the moment.

6. pooosssshhhhchooofooof ooof ooof.... ooof

I recommend installing two or three of them at once so you can get what they call BOV harmonies happening.

Oh and the best brand on the market is obviously got to be the Brotec. Suzuki wouldnt have chose them as their factory BOV supplier if they werent awesome.

No argument - HKS Racing Type II Blow Off Valve.

THE sexiest bov on the market, and able to be plumbed back into the intake to get the cops off your back!

Just make sure you're running at least 14psi to activate it! :P

:lol: :lol: :lol:

Gotto love it!!

And thanks to Sewid, who got the list of sounds before I got to read the thread.

Wonderful!!

By the way, guys, if you are having trouble choosing a BOV, then here is a tip for something to fill the gap while you are making up your mind or saving up your pennies:

1. Take MP3 recorder/player;

2. Take trumpet mouthpiece (as in the musical instrument);

3. Attach to empty toilet roll or empty GladWrap tube (depending on desired note);

4. Eat beans;

5. Lots of beans;

6. Stick trumpet mouthpiece and GladWrap tube assembly up your backside;

7. Record results & play on super doof-doof system in your motor.

Easy - peasy!

Cheers! :P

SK has explained this a few times i have seen, the does and donts of aftemarket BOV, if you going to do it, just buy a plumbed back so your car wont stall everytime you take you foot off the accelerator. OK the car is turned for plumb back system. Eg stock.
