Tangles
LOL I'll continue on in that vein: *Im over 2meters tall, so have no hope of fitting in with a manual AND have a useable seat behind me, it is afterall our family car & needs to be used that way. *Mine gets driven 75% in the city, always peak hour traffic, & after 7 knee surgeries I dont need to push my joints unneccesarily - auto takes out that push in/out in/out in/out effect; that'd kill me. *Yup, the car still drives well with auto rain or shine - mind you Id like to testdrive a manual Stagea *I currently have a '6spd-manual' Fireblade if I feel in the mood for a fast-blast Tangles Edited March 2, 2006 by Tangles Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/107463-auto-or-manual/page/2/#findComment-1991012 Share on other sites
Keisuke Takahashi
For me it is more comfortable driving a manual transmission Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/107463-auto-or-manual/page/2/#findComment-1991197 Share on other sites
jasevr4
Cheers all. Gee it'd be nice if someone just punched me in the face and yelled "GET A MANUAL" haha. Make my mind up for me.. There's positives to both - just need to figure out what the purpose of this car is. Hmmm.. Either way, hopefully there will be another Stagea owner in SA soon. CruiseLiner
Go the series 2, I hope everyone buys series 2, meaning that series 1 will be the rarer of the two.Sorry but I actually perfer the look of the series 1 over the series two, each to thier own though. I was under the impression that there are Series 1 RS Four S's out there......? hey cyrus i also reckon the series 1 looks better except the rear lights on the series 2 are better, but the front series 2 lights look abit weird and same with the grille with spotties in em. just my opinion though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/107463-auto-or-manual/page/2/#findComment-1991729 Share on other sites
Wildcat
Well as for us we have a series 1 auto...and a series2 manual....it took us forever to find a black series 2 manual...but it will be better for the hubby with what he wants to do with it.....as for me i wanted an auto with city driving and two small children in the car i dont need to worry about changing gears etc... Go with what you like the best... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/107463-auto-or-manual/page/2/#findComment-1991965 Share on other sites
jasevr4
The lights in the grille of the S2; what do they actually do? Just parkers or something? I've seen S2's without these lights?
