i thought that was why user programmable ECU's were illegal? because you could change the programming straight after emmisions therefore nulling the emmisions..

i guess this comes down to the engineer though rather than EPA testers.. they wouldn't care, they are only there to test

yeah funny argument though, isn't it...since swappin the computer for another one straight after the test is pretty easy too

nah... least with the pfc you can tune to pass... stock computer, you can't do anything.. just run the car!

so your saying that the tune of the stock computer is not good for passing?

i assumed if you had stock injectors, new cat and stock ecu/boost it would have a decent chance of passing rather than stuffing around retuning it till it passes?

quite possibly dude! i forgot i had a fair bit of aftermarket stuff when i went for mine!

i was told skylines don't pass our emisssions levels anyway... if you go for the test with the stock ecu, let me know how it goes
