Part number for RB26 Engine rocker cover seals if you dont mind buying aftermarket. Permaseal was the brand and fits really well. Fits other RB's too. Comes with the half moons and screw gaskets. $100 trade price.

Things i learned.

Get the proper Metalcast primer if you are slack. If you dont, you have to get the covers perfectly clean and every bit of paint off and then polish them till they shine. It takes quite some time. Metalcast needs a shiny surface to paint on especially with the reds/lighter colours otherwise the finish isnt the same. Cant use regular primer.

1 can wasnt enough for me. I havnt even done the middle piece as i ran out. anyone else?

All the costs add up if you are doing it yourself. For me it was $40 paint. then Sandpaper, Buffing kit, Autosol polish, Wax and grease remover. Then theres the time it takes.. consider getting someone else to do it.

more pics when back together

Hey any ideas if it would be ok to hit the ignition module with a quick coat of paint ? I dont know how succeptable to heat they are and how much a light coat of paint would affect it. I guess people paint intercoolers so it cant be too bad?

like the smoke colour hazerb30, good idea on the polishing under it vs their primer.

as for the ignition module, i wouldnt paint it last thing you want is your ignition system over heating, just polish it, you should have all the stuff now >_<

Johnbarry88 - that looks great. How much did they charge you for it?? I polished mine up before i painted with metalcast. Was a bit sad to see all that hard work polishing get covered in paint :D But you need a shiny surface before putting the metalcast on or it doesnt work
