I've used windex in the past but its not crystal clear clean... anyone got any suggestions?

Nothing will beat elbow grease

Use a good quality, dust free cloth too - I have just 'upgraded' to Meguires microfibre one and it seems to make it a little easier (got mine as a bonus with some other Meguires products).

BTW Don't use window cleaner on tinted windows (or the de-misting strips for that matter), it will have a detrimental effect on the tint long term.

get the maguires glass cleaner - Its very very good - My window tinter told me to use only this on my windws (even on the inside where tinted) - I can't recomend this enough !!

get a old newpaper and windex ,black and gold window cleaner use the bout 10 pages does hole car

Yep newspaper does the trick without the streaks that you get from using a soft cloth!

The Autoglym glass polish is pretty good from my experience

yea autoglym is good. haven't tried meguires yet. both of these can be used on tinted windows as well.
