Quick Q - Drained R33 Gtst Gearbox- Only 3 Odd Litres In It!?

as the title says.... i'm pretty sure the spec amount is 3.5-3.85 litres, is that right? I've just put a whole container of redline in - close enough to 3.8litres.

should I be concerned that there was only about 3 litres in there, or should i drain a bit out?

If there wasn't oil coming out the filler plug, then you don't have enough oil in there.

ah yes... I filled it through the shifter hole... I'm dead sure there wasn't any left in it, I have it up on ramps at the front and the drain hole is right at the back of the gear box. I might drop it back on the ground and take the filler plug out, and see what I get If theres no flow i'll just add more oil.

Love it when a plan comes together. about 10ml came out of the fill hole when i dropped the car to the ground
