Yet another r31 question,

The rb30det in stock form is supposed to put out 150kw at the flywheel stock. My R31 was originally auto and non turbo. With the rb30det and a 5 speed manual, will the borg warner auto diff put up with the punishent that the rb30det and 5 speed put out?

And would anybody be able to tell me what the diff ratio for the auto and manual is ?

I guess the speedo will be affected if a diff change is done?

Not RB30DET, you're talking about the RB30ET.

If you're running a stock turbo setup, it will cope with the abuse for a little while, but it will definetly not last as long as if you were to leave it standard of course. It all depends on how you treat it. If you putter around and only open it up here & there, drive it responsibly then it will probably last for a decent about of time. If you flog the arse out of it everywhere you go, drop burnouts and drive everywhere sideways then say goodbye to it VERY quicky.

Manual ratio is 3.7 and the auto is 3.9. If you change the diff ratio then yes your speedo will miss read. I'd leave the 3.9 ratio in there anyway due to the better acceleration.
