WTB: Car Alarm

i'm looking to buy a car alarm and immobiliser

new prefferably

has to be ADR compliant for insurance purposes

has to be compatible with a turbo timer

its to go on a 91' 180sx, i've got a budget of about 500 bucks

if anyone knows what is good and can suggest something it would be great or if someone has one for sale even better. thanks

features i would like but not neccessity

- remote engine start

- remote central locking

I have some Autobahn 2way paging alarms for sale ($450) but they are not insurance approved as they have turbo timer and remote start. All alarms with these options do not pass aus standards as it is illegal to leave a car running.

if you are in melbourne try HiFi Supermarket

I got one fitted for $300 (new) with

- remote central

- 2-point immboiliser

- back-up battery siren

- shock sensor

- channel hopping key fob

brand is Zylux

there were better ones for more $$$$ which had remote start and other neat features but this was worth the money

Do you just want to satisfy your insurance requirements - or actually protect your car as well.

Might be about $95 over your budget though...
