i think you are confusing the two

there are two wastegate type;

internal wastegate

the wastegate "flap" or bypass system is built into the turbocharger housing

external wastegate

the wastegate is an external flap attached to the turbo manifold

you can only use the split dump system on the standard usual spit dump. external gate setups have their own split sytem of course as they go to two different places and then meet up somewhere down past the dump pipe. the external wastegate setup is usually easier to run a "screamer" setup as rather than rejoin the wastegate pipe you simply vent to atmo, so when the gate opens it just pours exhaust gas out to the atmopshere giving a big "scream" noise when on full song.

I have a stock turbo and i got the best exhaust i could get i thourght

i had not heard about this wonderful place yet

he said intragated wastegate on the dump

now i c there are splits out there i was thinking the could be the same
