i recently started a topic in the forced induction section regarding gtr's on p's. i was told that you arent allowed to mod the engine to fall under the 125kw mark its whatever it comes stock. INASNT is what you say here true? are you allowed to do this..or are you just talking about gts-t's..

I heard all the P platers with turbos and pulling them out and installing superchargers to get around the ban :P

p.s. all the topicsi looked for this on are closed and i cant reply so i had to start a new one

INASNT's quote is a joke. (Notice the smiley)

You can't drive a GTR on your P's regardless of if you mod it to make less power (I don't know why you would do that.)

Just get a GTS-4. 4wd + turbo + legal on P's in some state's (Vic)

It's just like a really slow GTR :P .

Hope this helps.

As you were told in the other thread dude... in the very first post... which totally dis-counts the "supercharger" comment

I believe the ban is based on a stock standard car, as such you cant drive it legally even if you reduce the power. Its still a GTR, it still originally makes too much power, its still on the banned list.

and

and the simple answer is no

legally you cannot.

And even this about other cars

34 gtt and 33 gtst are over power to weight rule

And hence im locking this thread.

The other threads are also locked... as you can see, the question comes up every 2-3 weeks.

cheers
