Yeah, that sounds good to me too, also has to support a turbo timer, any idea what brands to go for and what to stay away from?

the only brand I would put in my car is CYCLOPS or AUTOWATCH all the other brands are shite. stay well away from the tisonics turbotimer alarm they ALWAYS stuff up. trust me iv'e been thru 3 alarms.

Ive got a Black Widow 10000 car alarm, its all black wired and 100% insurance approved throughout Australia.

Got it for under $160 off ebay brand new (ebay rocks!), and had it installed when the car was at Graham West Workshops. GWW wernt the installers, they got someone in to do it, but at a great price tho. Call Brett West to find out who they recommend & use!

All sorts of stupid options, fact is Ive only got it set up to stop a thief breaking in, and to immobolise the engine. Didnt see how I needed window guards, remote start, etc etc, all wired up as it costs too much!

For a good alarm at an awesome price try the XXXX (PM me if you want details) - a few guys on here have them and are happy (me included). Has remote start and turbo timer built-in. Contact Greg Kruse - GK Technologies [email protected] Alarm costs around $400 (is around $1,000 from Autobarn) plus accessories etc etc - mine cost all up around $1,000 with all the extras.

I had mine installed by John Phillips 0405 702 292 - he is based in the building next to Morpowa at Modbury North. He installed my whole alarm including all sorts of extra security and optional goodies all for the unbelievable price of $270.

i got an alarm that was recomended by my insurance company at the time(famous) Now i'm not sure if it was the alarm itself or the id#### that installed it but it sucks. I've had problems with the central locking and all sorts.

I won't name it on here, or the installers but if you want to know pm me.

I'm thinking about getting another one installed to replace the dodgy one i have.
