Hey Guys

I had a serach an couldn't find much info on turbo maintenance. I'm looking at R33s and wondering how I tell if the turbo and associated parts are in good condition or not...I've only had N/A cars in the past. I'm guessing there will be a fair few ppl here who r experts when it comes to this...help appeciated.

Truth is it's not always that easy to tell. The best Idea is to have a drive of a few and compare the spooling of the turbo and the overall feel. Also NRMA, RACQ or whatever state your in offer a Japaneze inspection which is most worth it. You will find things such as air flow and fuel pumps make a big difference which are usually what will need replacing and automatically make a huge difference to the car and turbo in general. But R33's in general are pretty good cars.
