Gtr Tyre Size ?

Hi,

I have just recently purchased a 32 GTR which has fitted 255/40/R17 tyres and am looking at upgrading to 18's. I was just wondering how wide i could go with tyres without having to roll the gaurds.

Just get as wide a rim as you can go with out it coming out of the guard, and then get tyre to match, not forgetting you can stretch a tyre as i have done, Put a 235/40/18 on a 9.5 rear as apposed to most people putting 265/40/18! The bit of stretch will make it clear easier!

hey mate, its james, with the red r32, i have 18' x 9.5'. those white mags, they seem to fit nicely but ya seen to lower the car a lil bit. i think ya can fit 10' wide wheels on there.

streched 235 on 9.5' wide wheels look a bit ugly, thats what i have on the front. hoping to have 255 all round or 245 front and 255 rear or 245 all round (depending on the price per corner) this weekend!! goin with sum expensive rubber as well, fulda exelero(i think thats what they are called)

265/35/18 is what i am running
