PREISS
anyone gettin cod5 when it comes out ? nice graphics. I think the game moves too fast and there is no need for music in the background. overall I think its not as realistic. maybe alittle better graphics tho. kralster
why is it so freaking hard to share a folder on vista!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've done it through the properities/advance sharing, and it still won't f**king work. When i try to access the drive off another computer on the network it shows up as a shared folder no problem, but it won't let you in as you don't have access to the folder. f**king driving me bat shit crazy. and another thing, i also cannot get onto the internet on my media pc anymore, it's connected wirelessly, can see the internet through the wireless router config, but it won't go to any website whatsoever. It did work for about 30 mins when i first put the pc together but now it flat out refuses. any help or idea's? Cubes
kralster, Any issues with vista file sharing I've had I simply setup the permissions. On the client I then enter the password and it works. Make sure its not a firewall issue. With regards to the media pc. Make sure its obtaining an IP address, best of statically setting the IP on the media pc or at the very least reserving an IP based on the media pc's mac address within the router. DHCP has a thing of breaking. :S Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/106/#findComment-4253129 Share on other sites
Damo_R34
ok, im tossing up whether to get a Logitech Driving Force or Logitech G25 racing wheel for ps3. Sure the g25 has clutch and H pattern shifter, but you can't use the clutch with GT anyway, so im thinking ill save 2-300 and buy the Driving Force. Any thoughts? Also, Harvey Norman and EB Games both have the Driving Force for $179.95, anyone seen em cheaper? EDIY: this is pretty cheap for a Driving force pro Edited November 11, 2008 by Damo_R34 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/106/#findComment-4253741 Share on other sites

EDIY: this is pretty cheap for a Driving force pro I was also thinking of buying a steering wheel lately and was looking at them. Theres a Logitech driving force GT (made for gran turismo 5) its $130 at JBhifi on their website (looks really similar to the normal driving force but has buttons and you can change settings on your car while you race). Regarding the G25 on gran turismo, i think you may be able to use the clutch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMIOjnL0E9Y...feature=related if you watch closely, the guy is using the clutch to change gears. I saw some other videos with people using the clutch too. edit: heres another video its much clearer to see Edited November 11, 2008 by TS-R34 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/106/#findComment-4253943 Share on other sites
Dohmar
I've played a mates G-25 and its bloody nice havent played it with GT but he has a subscription for Live for Speed (which is pretty cool).... virtual drifting is great fun -D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/106/#findComment-4253963 Share on other sites
Damo_R34
im preeeeeeeetty sure that GranTurismo5 prologue doesn't have a clutch option, thats according to gtplanet.net anyway. Probably doing it for wank factor. Also fairly sure that the Logitech Driving Force GT and Pro are both made to cuit Gran Turismo, as both have the "GT" logos on the wheel. I think ill go for the pro. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/108819-computer-jargon/page/106/#findComment-4253967 Share on other sites
