All you have to do is buy a copy on US Ebay and have it shipped here .... too easy. Or better yet, the gay classification (or lack thereof) makes it almost legitimate for us to pirate/torrent the game

He doesn't but I do, about 50m away.

Sure do get ridiculous speeds. With my cap I can do about 110gig on my 40gig plan, 70 of those gigs in the time the server realises Im over my limit and caps me.

Telstra do have more bandwidth than Internode BUT they have to share it amongst a hell of a lot more noob users (mums, dads, grandma's grandpa's etc whom think because its telstra it must be better).

This results in less available bandwidth per head than Internode offers.

GA has faster file servers for your self because you are with GA. If you can't suck off internodes file servers at full speed then the problem is the link between internode and GA.

The only thing Bigpong has going for it is cable, thats if your one of the luck 1% who are able to get it. :(

I'm all for Internode as they come across to myself as an enthuiasts ISP who has a pashion for developing/improving broadband in Australia. Annex-M is a prime example. Tesltra.. They were trying to cripple Aus.

Another thing I like. Simon the owner of Internode participates on Whirlpool and lets every one know whats going on. :P

I guess that makes me a fanboi! :P lmao

I'd rather be sharing with noobs and grandpas. You know why? Because less people would be Torrenting/Dling, which chews up bandwidth hardcore!

The problem is its the kids that do all the torrenting etc.. So not completely true.

I know lots of noobs (whom I do regular computer upgrades, computer repairs etc) and its their kids that use emule, piolet and torrents and the worse thing, piolet for example defaults to boot when the system starts, so constantly sucking bandwidth.

In the US. Who do you hear of being pinched for dloading music etc.. Teens living at home with their parents.

Telstra is expensive. Unless your on cable *even then its debatable* one would be silly to stick with them.

If all goes as planned I will be moving ~500m away from the exchange down at Moana. :P

So ADSL2+ 24mbit here I come. :(

Telstra's unlimited plan on cable....

Unlimited referring to either :

a) the 10 gig limit

b) the uploads counting as downloads

Sounds like a great deal to me...:P

uploads only mater if they count if your a leech monkey 80% of my monthly downloads come from GA game demos movie trailers patches and general forum stuff

I use my upstream for remote desktop, email and web server and the occasional p2p on a private site.

I hardly use p2p, maybe 1 or 2GB per month if that. Doing my general bits and pieces I use ~15gb per month. I'm not really in to game demo's, movie trailers etc. I have been dloading quite a few linux distro's of late though. Linux is still very clunky for an everyday os, great for a server though.

Either way.. Internode ROXORS!! BIGPONG SUXORS!!! :(

I should also mention Internode peer with youtube, microsoft, google and a shit load of other places. So speeds are as quick and reliable as technically possible.

Unsure exactly who Telstra peers with as they don't tell anyone. :P

      No intention of driving the car the way it's set up now, just wanting to make sure I haven't made any mistakes along the way so that the tune can go smoothly, I don't want to waste anyone's time with stupid issues. And of course I intend to get it towed to the dyno in a completed state 😅 I have the base fuel pressure with the vacuum disconnected set at about 40psi, which I believe is at least relatively close to stock fuel pressure, maybe I'll have a fiddle with the reg and see what happens. For all I know I could be wasting my time with this and I should just plumb it in and see what the tuner reckons. I just find it a bit strange that it seems to be under so much load just free revving, but maybe that's just a result of the turbo slowing down the exhaust gasses and making a restriction in the flow, with no boost to compensate.

      The boy just hit up google translate and it worked a treat, he said step one was "please urinate with precision and elegance", he then sent me the correct translation  I get some new loctite for the small fixtures tomorrow and get some "dort" going after that 🤣

I can understand the theory I assume you are going for, which is: "Run it N/A, and if I have the original AFM, and same amount of fuel and intake air as previously, the fact there's a turbo in my exhaust should still make it run" Which it... might? Provided you don't actually change how much air or fuel is going into the car.. or getting out. But if you have changed that, all bets are off. What is the purpose to even have the car run this way? To get it to a tuner? And if the goal is to limp it to a tuner, you're still going to what - plumb up a whole intercooler system and new intake in the parking lot out front before your tune......?

      Haha yea it's a bit of a weird setup at the moment, just wanted to make sure I sorted out any headaches before dyno day. At the moment I've changed the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe, 460lph fuel pump and rising rate reg as well as the previously mentioned headstuds and gasket. The nistune was already mapped for the car as it was and drove around for a few months no worries. The plan is to run flex fuel hence the big pump, which I've wired direct to the battery through a relay to avoid voltage issues.

      Um. Was the ECU the same as the one previously there? I know R33's needed R32 GTST ECU's or other tomfoolery to run Nistune. This is such a wild setup. Most people would plumb in the turbo then not drive the car (i.e tow it to a tuner). What's actually changed since it last ran?
