Trustworthy Workshop In Melbourne

Hi All,

I just bought my first Skyline, its a 34 GTT and i want to put a Stainless Cat Back exhaust on it and im looking for a good workshop in Melbourne to do it.

Does anyone know a place where i could get this done and trust its done well??

I say this because my mate had his stainless exhaust done and it snapped at one of the welds while he was driving! He spent a bit on it and i dont wanna go through what he did.

So does anyone know a performance place where i could get this and other things done that has a good reputation and is reliable?

Also, can anyone tell me what they have, or can recommend the optimum size for the piping and muffler that will will have a nice RB sound, but also increase performance? Im thinking 3" piping, and 4.5" tip on the cannon muffler. And what do you think they would charge?

Any feedback anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

What's wrong with the exhaust that's on it now that you have to replace it?

Also, never understood the desire / requirement to have SS exhaust piping. I ran plain steel piping on my Zed for 10 year or more (daily driver, running L20ET), and the piping is still intact and shows no signs of rusting through (more than I can say for the Zed!).

there are plenty of places in melbourne that can do this... what side of town are you on? as for stainless i like it... it's lighter and looks great... i have stainless from the turbo back including the cat...
