Hi guys back out at the creek again.

This time with 311kw at the wheels.

I'm still having a little bit of trouble off the line.

the only spot on pass i did i managed the 12.0 at 128mph.

Next time we do out we don't want anything less than 133mph.

before anyone says you won't get that, we will run another 5 psi on top of what we had before.

Also on the 12.0 we ran with 18psi next time we wil drop it to 15 as thats the pressure we ran on the last two.

one my last run i forgot to put the traction control back on, this resulted in lots and lots of wheel spin all the way down the track untill i got into forth.

as for wheel spin, yes with the traction control on it still does spin through third but we limit it with the motec.

Cheers

My guess is it needs some serious suspension work, like all front wheel drive drag cars it will benefit a lot from a decent set up. What spring rates are you running? Shocks? Camber? Toe?

Personally I wouldn't be worried about more power until you can use the power that you currently have.

:P cheers :)

The front end will cost us about 3k to get sorted where as we believe there is a good 100kw more in the power side of things.

New products wich will go onto the car in the future.

1.Hypertune billet plenum

2.Hypertune billet 76mmTB

3.New turbine housing.

4.ARC 100mm front mount

5.ELF race fuel

6.More RPM

7.More boost

I wouldn't recommend that approach. ET is king.

I 100% agree with Kenny, no use in having mph and a would of, could of, should of ET

I know with my old set up I ran 128mph and it was good for what ever ET but the best I ever ran was 11.7 so really it was a high 11 sec car no matter what the mph said as thats the best It ever did

You don't need to go to that extent to improve the ET's.

Have you had it on a wheel aligner and looked at the front end dynamic camber change? What about bump steer? Keep more of the tyre in contact with the track surface, $100 well spent.

Have you checked the corner weights? If not, there is a good gain there for almost zero cost.

If you are not running at least 1,000 lbs per inch springs in the rear that that's a start. Lessen the weight transfer off the front wheels, $300 well spent.

There are so many simple things that you could do, I bet there is at least 1/2 second in it with a mimimal spend and a day's work.

:P cheers

Man I have so much that I just don't know about drag racing...

This is the most refreshing statement re: drag racing I have ever read on this forum.

You're my favourite person of the week, Dan. Congrats!

:D
