mine is doing that, ideling at 1500/1400rpm

Its the round gold thing with an electric clip going into it, its connected to the AAC valve. (on the back of the intake plume)Thats what mine was.

u can test it by disconecting that clip when the car is on. if its working the revs should change. if the revs dont change its stuffed

to find an air leak buy a can of carby clean and spray around suspect area. when revs pick up you have found you mark......dont use water on things limke manifolds for air leaks.....water doesnt compress like air and has a tendancy to bend bits inside motors if to much goes in......:D

ok, have noticed that the problem is mostly in the morning....

i have tried letting it warm up for a while, but it doesnt go away

if i goto work in the morn, park it and say start it at lunch, it will rev just under 1000rpm

its almost everyday that this happens and its rather annoying....

will have a play around on the w/e

thanks guys

has anyone thought about the throttle cable?

it may be sticking a bit!

my 32 idels around 900-1000rpm an sumtimes it idels at 1900- 2000rpm then drops back down to normal rpm. an because the the throttle cable is sticking a bit.

ahhh who would of thought of that.
