I cut the edges off mine using tin snips, and used permanent marker to draw a fake black edge on the ends... looked mint (until I changed front bar to a 400R, now the cutting is pointless :D)

Thats what I would suggest as mine looked great. They were black writing on white background style.

Ahh gotcha...

Get some aluminium box-tube (get it from bunnings i guess). You could also use wood, etc etc etc..

Basically take a 5cm piece of it (or obviously however long it needs to be to make it flush), and put it between the plate and the bumper. Then thread your bolt through the number plate, through the spacer, and through the bumper and put your nut on the back.

If you're using a small bit of wood or whatever, you just need to drill a hole through the middle of the wood to put the bolt through.

I hope that made sense... anyway, thats how I did it initially

sounds good, i think ill head to the hardware store and pick up some of the aluminium stuff, i dont trust the wood, specially when it rains, wood wil eventually detoriate and your have half your number plate hanging off the front
