A Lil Help Please?

Hey peoples,

not sure if anyone here can offer some advice.

I have a R32 GTST and on 3 seperate occasions the engine seems to e playing up.

I sounds like a WRX and feels likes its missing a fair bit. When you accelerate it feels lumpy under foot and runs at about 70% power.

Not exactly sure what the problem is, so if anyone knows of what it may be, please feel free to comment.

It's going in for a service next week (the car is serviced regularly)

check your spark plugs i just replaced mine and the old ones were farked!.....all rusted n sh*t. This could be causing it to mis-fire, clean your throttle intake plenium as well clear it up a little bit will run much smoother ........good luck

Had the same problem recently. It's usually a dead coil.

Clean spark plugs. Reduce gap in spark plugs if necessary. Coil packs possibly f**ked. My coil packs are packing it in, but reducing the gap in the plugs reduced the symptoms considerably.

garentee a coil pack issue just test them my unplugging one at a time and see which one doesnt change the idle and thats the stuffed one.
