I started a thread in maintenance about cleaning glass and most people replied that newspaper and a bit of elbow grease does the job. I was a bit skeptical, but I just went and tried it and it does wonders, my rear window had crap and stuff on it from when it came over from japan I couldnt get off with windex with just plain newspaper it rubbed straight off!

By the way, Brasso works great on headlights.

i never use anything else -- kitchen papertowel is crap, i find the Sunday times works better than the local papers as they tend to lose ink onto the screen more

I agree with the brasso also Eagle one mag wheel cleaner isnt bad on clear plastic either

oooh, oohh, and SHELL Tyre-Shine on the interior of your car..., dash, rubber, whatever.

Doesn't leave that horrible greasy armor-all feel to it or the strong smell. I've been using it for years now.
