Looking for around 320 - 330rwhp, and currently have the standard RB25DET AFM. Just wondering whether I am going to need to upgrade to the Z32 afm. Don't want to waste $300+ if i don't need to.

So the Z32 afm is a 'higher resolution' meter. Does this just mean that it will be able to read at a higher airflow than the standard afm, or also allows for a more precise tune at all rpm?

Heard that the RB25 afm's are good for ~ 250rwkw / 340rwhp.

Any experiences, opinions, and advice is appreciated. :P

the rb25 afm begins maxing out around 190rwkw ish and keeps going until about 250rwkw. mine is maxing out around 6000rpm ish which is fine. its only a problem when it begins maxing out at like 3500rpm ish as from then onwards the load axis never increases any more so you loose some tuning accuracy.

note: this is how a map sensor car works so its OK and won't blow up or go bang. 250rwkw is fine on the stock airflow meter but it may feel a little better with a z32 as it will keep showing increasing airflow on the load axis
