One Rear Light Not Coming On When Brakes Are Pressed

Hi,

I've got a R33 with the left most rear light not lighting up when the brakes are pressed. it turns on when the lights are turned on and a check of the bulb shows that the circuit is intact.

where else can i start looking and what could possibly be causing this? any help would be great. thanks

Swap the non-working bulb for the one on the opposite side and see if it isnt a simple problem with the bulb afterall.

The globes are "twin filament", ie 2 filaments, 1 for brakes, 1 for tail lights.

I'm confident the brake light filament is kaput. But, as Jordan has suggested, try swapping it around to see if the problem follows the location of the bulb.

yeah.. it was one of the filaments... the car was at the mechanics for something else and the mech said it was the bulb.... thanks guys.
