intercooler end tank design

Is there a marked difference with having end tanks on the top and bottom as opposed to left and right??

anyone got one of these top and bottom ones

i came across one for sale and I was not sure if i should get it

u would only use a top/bottom end tank design if u had restricted room at the front!

theres plenty of room in the front of a skyline for a left/right cooler!

and having the hot intake pipe and cooler outlet pipe running back next to each other aint good either!

the outlet runs through the facotry position pretty much and the inlet runs the other way so should be okay
