I just found this link, Apprently its a knock listening devicethat was developed for the Gibson/Winfield GT-R's back in the Group A days.

Looks like a steelman chassis ear except it uses generic knock sensors to pickup noise compared to just a normal piezo electric pickup.

Its also got a notch filter as well so that you only hear the frequency that knock occurs at (which you can configure) rather than hearing all the other noises as well.

Would be interesting to compare the price of this to a chassisear.

I haven't found a frequency filter to be much of an advantage, most of the noise around an engine seems to be in the 5 to 12 KHz range. Which is logical considering the engine is turning at 4,000 to 8,000 rpm when knock becomes relevant for an RB.
