R32 GTR is a very expensive daily driver. I've used one for almost three years probably covering more kms than you will. You must understand that since the car has so many extra working parts the maintenence is going to be multiplied. eg: 2 Diff's, 2 turbos + transfer case

So what maintenance have you done on the turbos, on the front diff on the transfer case? I have had my Gt-R for almost three years now. Haven't had to touch any of them.

Cost per km figure for a GT-R would be about 50% greater than that for a Commode/Foulcan - in fuel, tyres, brakes etc etc. That is about how my R32 works out relative to my AU Foulcan. You just need to cost it in before deciding.

This is all very interesting. Seems a few people use theirs as daily drivers and dont have a much of a problem if any doing so.

I just dont want it to work out like my rotor. Spending more time off the road than on the road (in typical rotor style) with a thirst for $$$$ being thrown at it, and not just in the way of fuel bills.

Thanks for the help so far everybody. Seems my purchase of what ever car i decide has been hurried up. So if its GTR i decide, ill be hassling you alot more!

cheers

ash
