Hi All,

We are currently having an expression of interest for the Melbourne Autosalon 2006 expo/show.

We are seeking interest from the SAU VIC Members and this event is only open to Members.

For those who aren't members and would like to have your car on display at Autosalon 2006 then you should join SAU VIC immedietly.

We have some interest but would like to see some more people put their car's in. It's a great social weekend filled with lots of cool cars, a great SAU team and lots of antics. Cabin have also offered us buddy passes which means when you car is in you get free entry all weekend for yourself and one other friend.

We have been at all of the previous Autosalon's (2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005) so let's get as many members as we can. I don't wanna miss on this one. Afterall its well known that the SAU crew (and fangartists) basically rule Autosalon for members and their rides.

Show your support, afterall it's your club as much as it ours (SAU Commitee Team).

All of the other car clubs you know or have heard of will be present (IMCC, Evolve, Commodore Car Cruise, Chasers, Rajab Racing) just to name a few. Also all of the stupidly loud audio demo cars, promo girls and cheap merchandise and parts onsale.

THe entry fee gives you two tickets all weekend, access to dyno run is included in the price (if you wish). The full tank requirement is part of event safety. This is to eliminate the risk of a fuel explosion as the fumes in the petrol tank are the dangerous part. When the tank is full (or almost empty also) there are little or no fumes, reducing the risk.

I believe it's part of Cabin's event insurance also. They check every tank upon car entry to the event on the Friday.
