hicas_posse Posted March 16, 2006 Share Posted March 16, 2006 guys, i noticed my car's alignment is out as on a straight road, it tends to go to the left. i know an alignment needs to be done but how abt wheel balancing? i'm sorry but what is done during wheel balancing? i dont know how wheel balancing is related to alignment. sorry for the noobie question. thanks! MerlinTheHapyPig Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 wheel alignment they check suspension settings for toe, camber, castor etc. wheel balancing is on the actual rim where they put weights on the rim itself in specific spots so the wheel is balanced when rotated. Should cost less than $10 a wheel to get balanced, do it at same place that does the wheel alignment.
