Before you go mucking about with the switches, make sure that is the problem.

I thought mine was broken too. Window would only go down sometimes, it would go back up easy, but would be really fiddly to get down.

It turned out to be the relay assembly behinfd the dorr skin. This had got wet (water down inside of window)
