Hey,

Looking for some experinces between the GTS-T and the GTR throttle setups? Has some one drivin both at comparitable levels of performance? Can you give me some idea of any improvement that the GTR individual throttle bodies gave over the big single?

Looking at the differnce in response, flow, any other observations! ALSO is there a power LOSS from having the GTR ITB's over the GTST-T big single?

Thanx

I didn't want to revele my intention in case no body wanted to help :)

I'M intending to use a GTR set of ITB's to build a custom intake manifold for my 1jz supra (yes the enemy! :D ) So its twin tubro running currently 14.5 PSI. I've been told the ITBs have an over sized shaft, so it restricts flow. Basicaly i'm asking whether the response more then makes up for the power loss. i guess.

The 6 TB's on the RB26 have a larger area than an 80 mm single TB

I have seen no evidence of restriction up to 700 bhp from the RB26 TB's

If restriction is a problem, them you have more power than response is an issue.

:) What am I saying.... RB26 TB's are crap and should never be used

(that should stop one set being used on another engine)

The expression strawberries to cops come to mind :D

:D cheers :D

Ah HA i knew the lies would flow forth! :D

Nah thanx, I assumed that would be the case, but again if you figure in that only 2 cylinders will be open at any given time, a large singel will flow more then 2 ITB's. So you see my dilemer. Thats why I'm after some real world experinces.
