im kinda sceptical on ur time, as nos generally removes 2 seconds

i think i saved the replay no nos fitted at all to the car.

with nos you should be able to take off more than

2 seconds on such a large track

*edit, typo*

I did the ring in 5:45 something in the R32 GTR Calsonic... Fully worked with nos and a long 5th. No spins, and a generally good clean run. I had holidays for 4 weeks :)

Got a split?

...and maybe post a pic of the screen for these 'ultra' fast times

  • 3 weeks later...
  • 2 weeks later...

'97 R33 GTR Vspec

8:37.421

Stock w/ sports med tyres

Slides more than the 32 i reckon so i think i could better my R32 time easy.

BTW im only doing 2 laps with each car as it not the shortest track in the game lol. first is to get the feel of the track with the car and then i see if i can beat that one.

thats exactly what I do, you need to set a time and a ghost car to beat :D

i rate the r34 :ermm: definetly holds the road better than the r33. plus it was red so it gained an unfair advantage with speed

might do a 350z next or the gtr proto? dunno...

Modified Mines R34 GTR

6:54.775

i could get quicker i reckon with changing the gears and suspension as it topped out at 348kmh on the straight and slid like a mule round some corners...

    • It's something we all have to consider as time marches on. Also consider lifted rally MX5 conversion at that point.
    • I should be fine for a few more years, whilst I do have arthritis I also exercise and do mobility training every day to keep as fit and healthy as I can, military life, which is the actual cause of most of my joint issues, has set daily regimes, which I weirdly enjoy I also train alot smarter now, not really focusing on lots strength or puffy muscles, I'm more focused on maintaining what I have for my future older self, I actually train as much mobility now as I do exercising Check out this "simple" drill I have been doing daily prior to training now for a while now, this has worked wonders in my all round mobility
    • I'd say one thing that may make you sell is the same reason the guy with the hard top roof sold his. He got old, and his back was giving him too much grief stopping him getting in and out... Old guy said he was 73! He looked and sounded younger than 73 to me! Or maybe I'm just aligning with old people more...
    • Already looked at a few prior to getting the MX5, really nice car, had all the mod cons, but I wasn't really sold on the new "look" I did miss my 2017 Limited, and I personally prefer the "look" of the older car over the new model, but, when pondering I kept going back looking at MX5's But it was same same for the new ND's, I wasn't sold on the new "look", especially the RF with its weird roof, which only half goes down, like a targa top sort of thing As I stated before, I did look at NC's, but the cars I looked at were PRHT's, but I didn't like their roof line "look" of the PRHT, until I saw the soft top version, (someone on SAU posted a for sale ad for one with a soft top that caught my attention, you can blame them for my choice.....🤣) and.... that old style detachable hard tops were available for them, which keeps the old MX5 more smoother flowing roof line, and the more rounded body style, similar to the NA-NB, to me, the arse end of the ND looks to "modern" Much like how I prefer the NC1 front bar, over the later models How long will I keep this car for is unknown, but currently, there's nothing else out there that "floats my boat" for a small, fun, little "sports car", that I can play with and enjoy looking at and driving But, who knows what the future holds, and going off current new car styling, if I replace it, it will be a older model something something
