im a newbie when it comes to cars and turbos.

i got a problem with my car (r32 - rb20det). when my car is warm it doesnt wanna hit boost, and the rev plays around abit jumping up and down from 1200 - 0. and always stalls when i pull up at a red light. and my vacuum sits on 15-16 (according to my boost gauge). it should normally b at 20 or more.

my mechanic said its something to do with my car holding too much air pressure, but he's not sure cause he said i need to dyno test it.

if any1 else has had this problem and has fixed it, i'd like to know what the problem is and how much would it cost to fix

cheers

Sounds like ur air flow meter is on the fritz. Check the plug is properly connected, and that it's clean inside (especially if you're using an oiled air filter). You might need to clean it out, using an electrical contact cleaner.

There's a post about this somewhere, cos I had similar trouble myself. If you want further info, just ask.
